The
Government Affairs Committee of the Mitchell Area Chamber of Commerce will hold a public forum that will include candidates for the upcoming election for Mitchell Mayor and Mitchell City Council, as well as representatives to discuss the pros and cons of the ballot issue.
The forum will be held on Tuesday, May 14 at the DWU Sherman Center beginning at 5:30 p.m. The forum will begin with the Mayoral candidates, followed by City Council candidates, and end with discussion on the ballot issue. The forum is moderated by the Government Affairs Committee and all candidates will answer the same questions asked by our media panel and have the same amount of time.
The forum is free and open to the public - no RSVP required. Attendees will have an opportunity to submit questions to the media panel to be asked during the forum. The forum will also be livestreamed by the Mitchell Republic on their website in front of the paywall, so it is accessible with or without a subscription. Tune into the all-access livestream here:
