The City of Mitchell is accepting applications for a Truck Driver / Equipment Operator for the Street Division of the Public Works Department. This position operates trucks and other equipment in the construction, repair, and maintenance of streets and city infrastructure. Operates truck with attached equipment, maintains streets and city parking lots by filling cracks and potholes, cleans and performs minor servicing of vehicles, and performs emergency roadside repairs as needed, such as changing tires, installing light bulbs, and attaching tire chains. Participates in safety flagging and safety perimeter set-up with cones and barricades. Performs city-wide snow removal in the winter.
