As a SERVICE ADVISOR, you will own the customer experience in the service drive at our Mitchell location. A fast-paced, well-equipped team, we are looking for a hardworking, energetic, goal-orientated team member, to assist with the service process from start to finish.
Responsibilities:
- Take customers through their service visit from the immediate greeting to cashing out at the end and everything in between.
- Perform vehicle walkarounds, record mileage and VIN numbers, transport vehicles to technician bays, and write-up repair orders.
- Understand basic automotive repairs, know how long each service will take and how much the repair will cost to best communicate with guests.
- Communicate all customer requests to technicians and then communicate all technician recommendations to the guest based on vehicle needs.
- Follow up with customers during and after their service.
- Document all work requested, recommended, and performed on every repair order.
- Maintain and organize work and shop area.
- Other duties, as assigned.
Requirements:
- Automotive industry experience is preferred, but not required.
- Team-oriented focus and a positive attitude.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Ability to multitask and stay focused in a fast-paced environment.
- Answer phones and respond to customer questions.
- Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
- Must be authorized to work in the US.
