Key Responsibilities:

Design & Deploy: Architect and implement robust LAN, WLAN, and WAN environments for clients and internal use.

Implement & Configure: Set up and maintain network hardware and software—routers, switches, servers, firewalls, and more.

Monitor & Maintain: Proactively monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and troubleshoot issues.

Secure & Protect: Build and test security protocols including access control, firewalls, and disaster recovery strategies.

Automate & Optimize: Leverage automation tools and scripting to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.

Collaborate & Communicate: Work directly with clients and cross-functional teams to understand needs and deliver tailored solutions.

Document & Improve: Maintain technical documentation and provide recommendations to improve network performance and scalability.
?What We're Looking For
Experience & Skills:

Previous experience in a Network Engineer role or similar technical position.

Hands-on expertise with network monitoring, diagnostics, and analytics tools.

Familiarity with major network operating systems (e.g., Cisco IOS, JUNOS).

Experience with VPNs, firewalls, remote implementations, and problem resolution.

Scripting skills (Python, Perl) are a plus.

Knowledge of AI-based network management tools is highly desirable.
Certifications (Preferred):

CCNA, CCNP, CCDP, CompTIA Network+, or similar certifications.
Soft Skills:

Strong communication and client-facing abilities.

Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.

Enthusiastic about staying current with industry trends and tech innovations.
Education:

Required: High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred: Associate or Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
(Professional experience and relevant certifications may substitute for formal education)

Willingness to perform occasional after-hours maintenance.

Travel to client locations within the region as needed.
