Mitchell, SD – Get ready to ring in the holidays with festive cheer! Join Klock Werks and Cycle Source as they present the Christmas Extravaganza, a holiday open house filled with fun, family-friendly activities and warm holiday spirit. Mark your calendars for Friday, December 13th, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Klock Werks, for an event that’s free and open to the public.
“We’re thrilled to have another year to bring this Christmas event to the Mitchell community and surrounding areas. This isn’t just free photos with Santa; it’s a whole experience. From the festive decorations and our photo area with Santa and Mrs. Claus to the kids' crafts, goodie bags, and delicious treats, we’ve put so much thought and love into every detail to make this special for the kids,” says Karlee Cobb of Klock Werks and event organizer.
“Santa’s elves are already hard at work preparing for this fun, free, family-friendly event, which is the perfect way to kick off the holiday season with the whole family,” says Denise Del Favero of Klock Werks and event organizer.
“We are honored to give back to the community that holds us tight and helped us grow into a global brand. Regardless of Christmas past, there is something here for all people of all ages. It’s truly a joyous space to relax and connect with the community. It’s the Pre-Sturgis event of December!” says Brian Klock, Klock Werks founder.
The Klock Werks Krew has poured weeks of work and creativity into crafting an awesome holiday experience the whole Mitchell community can come together and enjoy. With hand-made photo backdrops, thoughtfully designed decorations, and live music from J & Jess, the Krew hopes to build on last year’s success and create an even more magical Christmas experience for children, young and old.
Families will have the opportunity to capture a family photo with Mr. and Mrs. Claus against a beautifully staged backdrop, creating a keepsake to cherish for years to come. Kids will also love special guest Buddy the Elf, who will make an appearance at the event to engage with children and mingle with community members.
To keep warm and cozy, visitors are welcome to indulge in a delicious hot cocoa bar provided by Farm Life Creamery, while sweet cotton candy treats will be available from the Corn Palace Shrine Club. Kids can let their creativity shine with fun Christmas crafts, and a gift-wrapping station will be on hand to add that festive touch to your holiday presents. Lastly, the Krew is preparing a life-sized Candy Land Quest for children to explore the shop and have some holiday fun.
This is more than just an open house; it’s a celebration of the holiday season and our Mitchell community. Bring your family, invite your friends and neighbors or coworkers, and join us for an evening of joy and laughter. Whether you’re looking for an unforgettable photo with Santa or just a cozy cup of cocoa, there’s something for everyone at the Christmas Extravaganza.
